Job Title: Audiovisual Consultant

Job Description

In collaboration with our senior consulting staff, use your engineering knowledge, project management, and problem solving skills to design and document audiovisual solutions for our valued clients.

  • Review and coordinate work of contractors through project completion.
  • Represent the company in meetings with clients, vendors and end-users.
  • Perform needs-analysis through user interviews to define and refine design goals.
  • Coordinate electrical, mechanical and structural requirements with architect and engineers.
  • Prepare design documentation including project reports, budgets, sketches, drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate and work closely with project technical team members
  • Participate in professional society activities consistent with the needs of the firm and with your work-related interests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CTS and CTS-D a plus
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and AutoCAD required
  • Experience in Construction Administration for large projects
  • Revit experience highly desirable
  • EASE and other acoustical modeling software highly desirable
  • Two or more years experience and a proven track record in audiovisual design or project management
  • Theatrical lighting and rigging system design experience a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and organizational skills
  • Team player who works well and collaboratively with others
  • Ability to travel as required
