The St. Vincent De Paul Church in Buffalo, New York was known for its beautiful architecture but difficult acoustics. The building needed extensive repairs just to stop the deterioration. Canisius College purchased the property and has just completed renovations to adapt the former church to a new life as a performance center for concerts and convocations.

CTA worked closely with Cannon Design of Buffalo, NY to develop a design for overhead reflector panels to guide the sound energy to the audience and away from the dome. The new sound exceeds everyone’s expectations.

CTA also designed a state of the art sound system to support lectures, film, and reinforcement for soloists. This effort was coordinated with video projection system by Communications Design, Inc. of
Norwood, MA.
