Acoustics plays an important part in Courtrooms as well as other areas of judicial facilities. Special consideration of acoustics is needed to ensure good hearing conditions in spaces with and without sound reinforcement systems. Judicial chambers and jury rooms require excellent sound isolation to assure confidential privacy. Prisoner holding cells require highly durable acoustic materials and a high level of sound isolation.
