CTA's special expertise in the sound isolation of windows came about as a result of our extensive work on behalf of the Monsanto Corporation. Under the direction of Greg Tocci, we analyzed sound isolation test reports for hundreds of different window systems, and supervised a series of tests at Riverbank Labs. The first major product of this research was the Monsanto Acoustical Glazing Design Guide, published in 1989.
