Celebrating 50 Years of Cavanaugh Tocci Associates

In September, we were honored to celebrate a major milestone: 50 years of Cavanaugh Tocci Associates. Current and former employees, colleagues, and friends gathered to recognize the people and partnerships that shaped the firm’s past and continue to guide its future.

The evening opened with remarks from President Doug Bell, who expressed deep gratitude to Greg Tocci and Bill Cavanaugh, our founders, for their shared vision and values that have defined CTA for half a century. Doug reflected on the legacy of collaboration that Greg and Bill set in motion—one built on technical excellence, mentorship, and genuine respect for the people behind the work.

Greg followed with stories from CTA’s early days, recalling how he and Bill decided to take a chance and “hang their own shingle” on a small office door in Natick, MA. He spoke about how meaningful the word Associates was in the firm’s name—representing not just our employees, but also key collaborators who have contributed to the success of the company.
