The Environmental Team at Cavanaugh Tocci has been involved in noise impact analyses for dozens of warehouse and distribution facilities across North America, wind farm siting and monitoring, solar facility sound evaluation, power plant sound control and compliance monitoring, quarrying sound monitoring and control, and data center sound evaluation and control. In these projects, the team typically conducts existing background sound measurements, models sound propagation loss using ISO 9613 compliant methods and software, and reviews local, state, and federal codes to recommend noise controls that best protect the local community.  The team has been peer-reviewed and routinely serves as a peer reviewer for sound studies completed by other firms for municipalities and private clients alike.
